A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a K-12 school setting in Marietta, GA. This role involves supporting elementary, middle, and high school students during the school year (CSY), with full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students across all grade levels (K-12).
- Collaborate with additional SLPs and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) available on-site for comprehensive support.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Participate in evaluations, progress monitoring, and team meetings.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and professional guidelines.
Qualifications
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Pediatric expertise and prior experience with K-12 populations is highly valued.
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will also be considered.
- Knowledge of healthcare and school-based speech therapy practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Location:
- Marietta, GA, about 20 minutes north of Atlanta and 20 minutes west of Decatur.
- Schools have established support systems including additional SLPs and SLPAs.
Additional Information
- SLPs in this role do not bill Medicaid.
- The position runs on a contract basis through the current school year.
